ONE 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION OF WEB APPLICATION FIREWALL WAF LICENSE
ONE 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION OF WEB APPLICATION FIREWALL WAF LICENSE I. OBJECTIVE The project aims to continue the protection of SBC’s on-premise web applications from traffic intercepts, tampering and hacking attempts. It also complements our existing unified threat management UTM network security protection. II. SCOPE OF WORK The project calls for the renewal of Web Application Firewall WAF License to be used in SBC’s IT resources. This subscription-based license upon renewal will continue to protect all on-premise web applications from tampering, hacking and intercepting traffic with one year subscription period from September 2026 to September2027. III. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 1 Year WEB APPLICATION FIREWALL SUBSCRIPTION - Intercepts traffic to and from the web servers and protects them from tampering and hacking attempts. - Secures web applications against attack patterns, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting and directory traversal. - Scan all inbound files and content with dual antivirus agents to keep infected content off the network. - SSL of loading improves server performance - Reverse Proxy authentication - After Sale Service: with 2-hours response time for support service i.e. On-call - MUST BE INTEGRATABLE WITH EXISTING SOPHOS XGS3300 IV. PROJECT COST The approved budget for the contract ABC is Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos PHP450,000, inclusive of applicable taxes. The budget will be taken from ITG’s approved 2026 budget. V. IMPLEMENTATION The project must be implemented by the installation/activation of the license to the existing Sophos XGS3300 UTM appliance within thirty 30 calendar days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed NTP. VI. CRITERIA OF EVALUATION The qualified and responsive bidder/s must comply with the technical specifications stated in Item No. III and the bid price must not exceed the approved budget for the contract ABC. VII. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Supplier-Bidder must be an authorized Platinum-Level Partner, and authorized Reseller/Value-Added Reseller of the brand it is offering. Supplier-Bidder must submit supporting documents such as, but not limited to, Certification from the original manufacturer/distributor. Supplier-Bidder must have at least two 2 active and currently employed support engineers duly certified by the original manufacturer/distributor. Supplier-Bidder must submit supporting documents such as, but not limited to, Certificate issued to respective engineers. Supplier-Bidder must have a physical office or offices in the Philippines. Supplier-Bidder must submit supporting documents such as, but not limited to, valid business permit from the Local Government Unit LGU where its office is located. VIII. PERFORMANCE SECURITY The winning bidder shall submit a performance security prior to the issuance of Contract, Purchase Order or Notice to Proceed to guarantee faithful performance of its obligations under the contract. Performance security shall be in the amount not less than the required percentage of the total contract price in accordance with the following schedule: Form of Performance Security Amount of Performance Security Not less than the required percentage of the Total Contract a Cash or cashier’s or manager’s check issued by a bank. For biddings conducted by LGUs, the cashier’s or manager’s check may be issued by other banks certified by the BSP as authorized to issue such financial instrument. Goods and Consulting Services - Five percent 5% Infrastructure Projects – Ten percent 10% b Bank draft or guarantee or irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank. If issued by a foreign bank, it shall be confirmed or authenticated by a local bank. c Surety bond callable upon demand issued by a surety or insurance company duly certified by the Insurance Commission as authorized to issue such security. Thirty percent 30% The performance security shall be denominated in Philippine Peso and posted in favor of SB Corp, which shall be forfeited in the event it is established that the winning bidder is in default in any of its obligations under the contract.
