Republic of the Philippines Province of Negros Occidental Municipality of Pontevedra BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE INVITATION TO BID CONCRETING OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD AT SITIO DA-AT, BRGY. CANROMA 1 The Municipality of Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, through the LGSF NTF ELCAC intends to apply the sum of Ten Million Pesos ? 10,000,000.00 being the Approved Budget for the Contract ABC to payments under the contract for the Concreting of Farm to Market Road at Sitio Da-at, Brgy. Canroma. Bids received in excess of the BAC shall be automatically rejected bid opening. 2 The Municipality of Pontevedra now invites bids for Concreting of Farm to Market Road at Sitio Da-at, Brgy. Canroma using the non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion. Delivery of the civil works is required 100 working days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, at least 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, contracts similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instructions to Bidders. 3 Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA No. 12009 Bidding is open to all interested Bidders, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR. But preferably with an office within Negros Occidental. 4 Interested Bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Pontevedra and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Engineering Department at 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. 5 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on July 28 to August 10, 2026 at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and August 11, 2026 at 8:00 am to 2:00 pm from the address given below upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of five thousand pesos ? 10,000.00. 6 The Municipality of Pontevedra will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on July 28, 2026 at Municipal Assessor’s Office, Main Building. 7 Bids must be duly received by the Bids and Award Committee BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office address indicated below, on or before August 11, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Late bids shall not be accepted. 8 All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 16.1 9 Bid opening shall be on August 11, 2026 at 2:20 P.M. at the Municipal Assessor’s Office. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the activity. 10 The Municipality of Pontevedra reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 70 of R.A.
